Adopting a Horse
Our primary responsibility is to the horses. We are eager to place adoptable horses in new homes, but it's even more important to us to be sure our horses find the best situations possible; in some cases, this means a horse will live at our facility for the rest of his life. A great deal of effort is devoted to matching adopters with horses who meet their needs. If you are interested in adoption, we are eager to meet with you and determine what kind of horse might be appropriate, as well as to visit to the facility where the horse would be living.
All of our adoption documents are now online. First, you'll want to read the Requirements and Regulations regarding adoptive homes. After that comes the Application. Once we receive your application, visit your facility, and help you decide which horse you want to adopt, the Contract is the final step. A reasonable adoption fee of $500.00 applies. |
